As a Registered Nurse specializing in Pediatric Intensive Care (PICU), you will gain invaluable professional experience working within a Level II Trauma pediatric unit. You'll be immersed in a collaborative environment, learning from seasoned intensivists, respiratory therapists, and case managers. This is a prime opportunity to expand your clinical expertise by mastering new technology, navigating complex cases, and engaging with diverse patient populations. This role enables you to build your resume by contributing to a renowned teaching hospital setting, while benefiting from meaningful exposure to a range of workplace practices and leadership approaches. Schedule/Hours:
7:00 PM to 7:00
AM Desired Qualifications:
Minimum of 1 year's current acute care hospital PICU RN experience Current BLS and PALS certifications Strong adaptability in a teaching hospital environment Commitment to patient-centered care
Preferred Experience:
CRRT proficiency APHON membership/certification Background in pediatric teaching hospitals
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver evidence-based nursing care to critically ill pediatric patients (2:1 patient ratio) Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team on patient assessments, care planning, and interventions Perform ICU procedures, including IV starts, blood draws, and TPT placements Maintain accurate and thorough documentation using
