This 13-week assignment allows you to grow your skills within an innovative, collaborative therapy department, expanding your professional repertoire and learning firsthand from a diverse, forward-thinking team. Schedule/Hours:
40 hours per week
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver high-quality physical therapy services to a variety of patient populations in a hospital setting Conduct patient assessments, formulate care plans, and track progress to maximize recovery outcomes Collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary team for coordinated patient care Educate patients and families, ensuring understanding of treatment plans and at-home exercises Maintain thorough documentation and uphold regulatory standards
Desired Experience & Qualifications:
Active PT licensure in New Mexico (or eligibility) Prior hospital-based therapy experience preferred Strong clinical assessment and patient communication abilities Ability to adapt to new settings and thrive within a team Commitment to fostering patient-centered care
