Schedule/Hours:
5 Days per week 8 hours per shift No weekend requirements No on-call responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive evaluations, assess needs, and develop individualized care plans in cooperation with patients, families, and referring providers. Administer and direct all physical therapy treatment modalities, ensuring safety and optimal outcomes. Instruct patients and families on therapeutic activities, equipment use, and at-home care programs. Oversee and guide PT Assistants and Rehabilitation Assistants; participate in quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives. Maintain accurate documentation, ensure billing aligns with therapy rendered, and prepare patient discharge summaries.
Qualifications:
Doctorate, Masters, Bachelors, or Associates degree in Physical Therapy Active New Mexico Physical Therapist license Current BLS certification from AHA Strong clinical assessment, decision-making, and time management abilities
