Key Qualifications:
Active state licensure as a Physical Therapist (PT) in Florida, or eligibility for transfer Hospital-based therapy experience, especially in critical illness/rehab settings, highly preferred Strong clinical reasoning and comprehensive evaluation skills Excellent communication and leadership abilities Commitment to evidence-based practice and professional ethics A passion for education and mentorship with patients, families, and students
Primary Responsibilities:
Evaluate assigned patients and develop individualized, goal-driven treatment plans in accordance with physician directives Delegate and oversee therapy services, ensuring optimal care delivery Foster patient and family education, supporting a safe return to community activities Prioritize patient and staff safety, adhering strictly to hospital protocols and professional standards Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team for efficient discharge planning and continuity of care Maintain precise and timely therapy documentation in compliance with all regulations Participate in professional development initiatives and advocacy efforts
