Job Description

As a traveling therapy professional in a hospital-based outpatient environment, you'll benefit from exposure to a variety of workplace philosophies and leadership styles. Schedule:
Full-time travel assignment (details provided during interview process)
Responsibilities:
Complete comprehensive patient evaluations, developing and regularly modifying individualized treatment plans in collaboration with physicians Deliver discipline-specific therapy services; delegate and direct care as appropriate for assigned patients Design functional treatment programs that facilitate safe community reintegration for patients Accurately document all medical records, goals, quality assessments, medical necessity letters, and charge entries, ensuring compliance with state and clinic policies Promote a safe environment by embodying safety best practices in all aspects: safe patient handling, environment evaluation, and risk identification Educate patients, families, coworkers, and students; participate actively in professional development and student training initiatives Maintain state licensure, ongoing competence, and an ethical standard in all interactions
Qualifications:
Current, valid state licensure for therapy and compliance with all state practice acts Prior experience in outpatient or hospital physical therapy preferred Strong organizational, interpersonal, and documentation skills Demonstration of professional ethics and commitment to continuous learning
