Qualifications/Desired Experience:
- Current and valid Physical Therapy license (or eligibility) in Pennsylvania
- Experience in a hospital or outpatient environment preferred
- Thorough knowledge of therapy evaluation, treatment planning, and documentation standards
- Excellent interpersonal skills for patient, family, and team interactions
- Commitment to professional development and evidence-based practice
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate assigned patients, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans in line with physician direction and patient goals
- Direct and delegate therapy services as needed for assigned patients
- Design functional treatment programs to support patients' reintegration into the community
- Serve as an educator to patients, families, colleagues, and students
- Document treatments thoroughly, accurately, and promptly, following all guidelines and policies
- Maintain compliance with safety standards and professional codes of conduct
- Actively contribute to performance improvement initiatives and student programs
- Create and execute your own professional development plan and complete state-mandated continuing education
