Job Description

Category Therapy - Hospital - PT Job Type Travel Delivering expert physical therapy within an outpatient hospital setting, this contract opportunity calls for a dedicated clinician skilled in evaluating and treating diverse patient needs. Utilizing evidence-based practices, you'll design individualized treatment plans while facilitating effective return-to-community activities.
Key Qualifications & Experience:
Valid and current state license as a Physical Therapist, in good standing Comprehensive knowledge of therapy services within a hospital or outpatient environment Proven record developing and modifying patient-centered treatment goals Commitment to compliance standards, professional codes of conduct, and patient confidentiality Strong educational abilities, able to teach patients, families, and students Participation in ongoing professional development activities Familiarity with state and federal healthcare regulations

Responsibilities:
Complete thorough evaluations for assigned patients; craft and implement effective, personalized care plans Document all care, treatment goals, assessments, and medical necessity in clear and timely clinical records Ensure all therapy services are delegated and directed per physician orders and compliance guidelines Promote a safe environment by adhering to established safety procedures and promptly reporting any hazards or risks Support performance improvement initiatives, participate in feedback opportunities, and contribute to strategic organizational goals Serve as a role model for mission statement and core values, upholding superior care and team collaboration Facilitate educational experiences for patients, families, and therapy students as assigned
