Travel position with flexible assignments
Skills and Experience:
Physical Therapy experience in a hospital or outpatient setting required Current, valid physical therapy licensure (or eligibility) in MA Competency to evaluate, develop, and adapt patient treatment plans based on interdisciplinary collaboration and clinical reasoning Ability to delegate and direct discipline-specific therapy services for assigned patients Solid understanding of medical record documentation, insurance protocols, goal setting, and compliance standards Commitment to ongoing professional development through continuing education and involvement in relevant organizations Adherence to state, federal, and facility regulatory guidelines
Key Responsibilities:
Evaluate and develop individualized treatment plans for patients, ensuring functional return to community activities Document thoroughly and timely; write clear goals, assessments, and medical necessity letters Direct, supervise, and educate patients, families, students, and colleagues Maintain patient and workplace safety as a daily priority, following safety policies and promoting safe practices at all times Provide care under physician orders and insurance guidelines; uphold all clinical, regulatory, and ethical standards Mentor and supervise students as part of the student program, supporting positive and educational learning experiences Proactively identify opportunities for service and performance improvement, contributing constructive feedback to optimize outcomes
