Job Description

Category Therapy - Hospital - PT Job Type Travel Experience vibrant Avondale, AZ—a city known for its sunny climate, diverse culture, and proximity to some of the Southwest's best outdoor adventures. Taking on a travel assignment here means broadening your horizons both personally and professionally. You'll have the unique opportunity to work with clients across adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations, enhancing your skills as you partner with colleagues using a variety of approaches and treatments. This position will introduce you to a fast-paced hospital therapy environment, where you'll manage an active patient caseload and participate in advanced case management. Collaborating with experienced teams exposes you to new protocols and leadership styles, equipping you with valuable clinical and professional growth for your resume.
Schedule/Hours:
Flexible travel assignment (details provided upon placement) Business casual dress code
Qualifications:
Licensed Physical Therapist with at least 1 year of experience (no new graduates) Skilled in working with adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations Proficient in NextGen documentation and case management Comfortable with 12-13 patient visits per day and 25-30 active cases Experience completing fall risk assessments and addressing a broad range of orthopedic conditions, including post-operative care
Responsibilities:
Provide evidence-based care for orthopedic and musculoskeletal diagnoses: both operative and non-operative Manage a dynamic caseload focused on delivering high-quality therapy services Complete thorough documentation and contribute to interdisciplinary care plans Assess and mitigate fall risks, applying best practices for patient safety
