Qualifications/Desired Experience:
Current licensure as a Physical Therapist (PT) in Maine or eligibility for licensing Outpatient/hospital therapy experience preferred Commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care Strong communication and clinical reasoning abilities Ability to educate patients, families, and staff Uphold professional codes of conduct and standards of safety
Key Responsibilities:
Evaluate assigned patients and design individualized treatment plans in line with their goals and physician guidance Delegate and direct therapy services for patients within your caseload Promote patient safety in all aspects of care including safe patient handling, infection control, and environmental awareness Complete timely and precise documentation, including medical records, goal writing, and compliance with all relevant guidelines Serve as an educator and mentor for patients, families, students, and peers Engage in continuous professional development and support organizational performance improvement
