Travel assignment Initial location: Chelsea; switches to Revere inJuly Role Responsibilities:
Assess patients and develop tailored care plans to promote optimal physical functioning. Interpret evaluations and test results, establishing treatment goals and administering manual therapy and therapeutic exercises. Instruct and motivate patients in safe use of assistive and supportive devices. Document outcomes, goals, and re-evaluate plans as necessary. Collaborate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams to communicate goals and progress. Supervise PTAs per policy and maintain compliance with all regulatory requirements. Engage in quality improvement initiatives across the hospital.Qualifications:
Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT if licensed from 2016 onward) Active Physical Therapist license BLS (Basic Life Support) certification 1-2 years of experience as a PT in hospital, rehab, or ambulatory settings Orthopedic physical therapy experience Strong knowledge of medical terminology, EMR systems, and accreditation standards Excellent communication, teaching, and organizational skillsBenefits and Perks:
