Qualifications and Skills:
Valid and current state licensure as a Physical Therapist (PT) Previous hospital or outpatient experience preferred Strong assessment, clinical reasoning, and therapeutic planning abilities Exceptional communication and teamwork skills Commitment to ongoing professional development and upholding ethical standards Willingness to mentor students and participate in educational programs
Responsibilities:
Complete comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients; develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and physician direction Document patient progress, write goals, quality indicators, and medical necessity letters per regulatory and facility guidelines Delegate and direct discipline-specific therapy services for assigned patients Ensure functional treatment programs that promote safe return to community activities Maintain compliance with professional codes of conduct and internal standards, including safety awareness in all areas of patient and workplace care Foster a positive, educational environment for patients, families, students, and colleagues Actively engage in performance improvement goals and continuing education
