Category Therapy - Hospital - PT Job Type Travel Discover central Wisconsin with this travel physical therapy opportunity, set in the close-knit community of Stratford. Professionals in this role benefit from engagement with a high-acuity hospital setting, serving a diverse patient base in both adult and pediatric ICUs, trauma centers, acute and rehab units, and more. You'll collaborate with expert teams, expanding your clinical skills as you adapt to various inpatient caseloads, diagnoses, and rehabilitation models. Exposure to differing facility leadership styles and advanced care protocols will help advance your expertise and build a robust résumé.
Schedule/Hours:
Day shift, variable Weekend shifts required (with scheduled comp days) Holiday coverage required Self-scheduling is not permittedQualifications:
Active PT license in Wisconsin (must be fully credentialed before onboarding deadlines) BLS certification required Experience in adult ICU, acute neuro, trauma (Level 1 or 2), ortho, and cardiac care strongly preferred Minimum 9 evaluations and 16 treatments per day, demonstrating efficient workflow management Solid documentation skills to justify transitions of care Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication abilities Adaptability and teamwork in fast-paced inpatient settingsKey Responsibilities:
Evaluate and treat a range of complex patients: adults, pediatrics, trauma cases, stroke, post-surgical, oncology, and rehab Float among ICU, trauma, acute, and rehab units as needed Complete comprehensive documentation and collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams Uphold professional dress code (any solid color scrubs, clean and tidy appearance)Benefits & Perks:
