Job Description

Category Therapy - Hospital - PT Job Type Travel Transform patient outcomes and make an immediate impact as a Physical Therapist in a dynamic hospital environment. Leverage your clinical expertise and compassion to help patients regain mobility, strength, and independence while working alongside a supportive multidisciplinary team.
Key Qualifications:
Valid Physical Therapist (PT) license in the state Previous hospital-based physical therapy experience highly preferred Proficiency with patient evaluations, designing treatment plans, and therapeutic interventions Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare staff Ability to adapt therapy approaches to diverse patient needs and adjust plans as necessary Current BLS certification
Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough patient assessments and establish individualized therapy goals and care plans Deliver evidence-based physical therapy treatments for a broad spectrum of acute and chronic conditions Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and ancillary staff to ensure comprehensive patient care Complete accurate documentation, track patient progress, and communicate updates to the healthcare team Educate patients and their families about exercises, mobility strategies, and safe home care practices Contribute to quality improvement initiatives within the department Uphold hospital policies, procedures, and best practice standards
