Job Description

Category Therapy - Hospital - PT Job Type Travel Advance your physical therapy career by providing vital care in both inpatient and outpatient settings at a well-respected hospital. This contract role focuses on delivering targeted therapy for patients with neurological and orthopedic diagnoses, along with the potential for occasional wound care. The schedule is days, with 5 shifts of 8 hours each week and a 36-hour weekly guarantee.
Qualifications and Experience:
Current licensure as a Physical Therapist Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a hospital setting Strong capability working with neurological and orthopedic cases Experience with inpatient and outpatient care required Ability to work independently, using sound judgment and logic based on comprehensive patient assessment and physician collaboration Comfortable navigating the EPIC electronic medical records system (preferred, but not required) Confidence in wound care preferred Adaptable, reliable, and able to remain calm in a fast-paced clinical environment
Key Responsibilities:
Assess, develop, and implement individualized care plans for a diverse patient population Provide therapy interventions tailored to patients' medical needs, supporting their rehabilitation and recovery Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to ensure best-practice patient outcomes Accurately document patient progress and plans in the EMR Maintain professionalism and adherence to the facility's dress code (black scrubs) This position allows you to leverage your therapy expertise within a supportive environment, empowering you to make meaningful decisions that directly impact patient progress.
