Category Therapy - Hospital - PT Job Type Travel Experience the vibrant southwestern charm of Somerton, AZ while advancing your career as a traveling Physical Therapist. Professional expansion is at the heart of this opportunity, with direct exposure to acute inpatient care in a collaborative hospital environment, bringing you face-to-face with total joint, CVA, CHF, COPD, and sepsis cases. Schedule Options:
5x8s with flexible weekend coverage (2-3 days/month) 4x10s (Sun-Wed or Wed-Sat) Rotating holidaysResponsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive physical therapy evaluations, establishing patient-centered, measurable goals Develop and implement individualized care plans considering physical, social, and cultural needs Communicate progress and collaborate with physicians, nurses, patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams Document all interventions and progress within departmental and regulatory timeframes Demonstrate versatility in assignments, responding to caseload and shift needs Supervise Physical Therapy Assistants, technicians, and students, supporting orientation and competency assurance Participate in departmental process improvement and meet productivity standards Engage actively in meetings and contribute to a positive team environmentQualifications:
Graduate of an APTA-accredited Physical Therapy program or equivalent Current AZ PT license (or Compact-eligible) AHA BLS certification At least 1 year of experience beyond clinical rotations; strong understanding of pathology, lab values, and interdisciplinary communication Recent acute inpatient exposure during clinicals (new graduates welcome)Benefits & Travel Perks:
