Key Responsibilities:
Evaluate assigned patients, developing, implementing, and adapting treatment plans focused on patient needs and discharge goals. Oversee discipline-specific therapy services and delegate tasks as appropriate. Design functional treatment programs that allow effective return to community activities. Serve as an educator to patients, families, colleagues, students, and yourself. Complete all medical record documentation clearly, accurately, and on time, adhering to clinic policies, insurance, and regulatory guidelines. Promote patient and employee safety using protocols for safe handling, infection control, and workplace hazard reporting. Participate in professional development, engaging in continuing education and organizational learning opportunities. Support student programs by providing mentorship and fostering positive learning environments. Uphold state and federal standards, maintaining licensure, and practicing ethically.
Desired Skills & Qualifications:
Current license to practice physical therapy. Experience or strong interest in outpatient and hospital physical therapy settings. Commitment to superior quality care and safety-first philosophy. Proven ability to serve as a clinical educator and collaborative team member. Strong documentation, clinical reasoning, and communication skills.
