Schedule/Hours:
Full-time travel assignment
Key Responsibilities:
Complete comprehensive evaluations and formulate individualized treatment plans in alignment with patient goals and physician directives. Delegate and direct all therapy services for assigned patients, employing functional treatment methods to support community reintegration. Maintain accurate, timely medical documentation, including goal writing and quality assessments, ensuring compliance with all relevant guidelines. Uphold the highest standards of patient and employee safety, including safe patient handling, infectious disease protocols, and workplace hazard reporting. Educate patients, families, students, and peers, fostering a positive learning environment and participating in personal and professional development programs. Adhere to state practice acts and organizational performance improvement initiatives, holding yourself and others accountable to ethical and professional standards.
Qualifications:
Licensed Physical Therapist in the state of Texas (or eligibility to obtain). Strong clinical reasoning, leadership, and documentation skills. Commitment to personal and professional growth with an ability to work both independently and collaboratively. Previous outpatient or hospital experience preferred. Excellent communication and a patient-centered approach.
