Category Therapy - Hospital - PT Job Type Travel Nestled in the heart of Virginia, Windsor offers a unique blend of small-town charm and scenic landscapes—an ideal destination for adventurers looking to enrich their clinical skills and explore a very livable part of the Mid-Atlantic. This travel physical therapy role provides the opportunity to work in a diverse and supportive healthcare environment, primarily in an outpatient clinic with some med/surg and same-day surgery coverage, where collaborative treatment and patient-centered care create a dynamic professional atmosphere. As a travel therapist, you'll enhance your resume by adapting to various approaches in patient care and learning from different leadership styles. Frequent engagement with inpatient, outpatient, and pediatric populations broadens your clinical expertise, while participation in ongoing education and interdisciplinary collaboration supports continuous professional growth.
Schedule:
Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm Every 4th weekend on-call for inpatient coverageQualifications:
Valid Physical Therapy license in Virginia (or eligibility) Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program (Bachelors required; Doctorate preferred) Active CPR certification Specialty certifications (e.g., OCS, SCS, NDT, Lymphedema, Women's Health) a plus Previous experience in outpatient or acute care preferredResponsibilities:
Evaluate, plan, and implement comprehensive physical therapy interventions for patients across the continuum of care Collaborate with physicians, families, and interdisciplinary teams to maximize functional outcomes Conduct assessments, set individualized goals, and monitor patient response to therapy Educate patients and families; participate in discharge planning and community fitness programs Maintain clinical documentation and assist with process improvement initiatives Engage in professional development and mentor peers or students as neededBenefits & Perks:
