Qualifications:
Valid and current Physical Therapy license for the state or eligibility for licensure Prior hospital and/or outpatient therapy experience strongly preferred Solid understanding of therapy evaluation, treatment planning, and patient documentation Strong communication, leadership, and teaching skills Committed to ongoing professional development and growth Demonstrates ethical practice in accordance with professional codes and state practice acts
Primary Responsibilities:
Evaluate assigned patients and develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans in collaboration with the care team and physician directions Deliver high-quality, evidence-based physical therapy services while upholding safety and compliance standards Educate patients, families, students, and peers Lead and delegate therapy services for assigned caseload, promoting patient safety and optimal outcomes Complete accurate and timely medical record documentation, including functional assessments and charge entry Foster a safe environment through patient handling, adherence to infection control, and reporting hazards Take part in student programs and support a positive learning atmosphere Develop and pursue ongoing professional development opportunities
