Job Description

Category Therapy - Hospital - PTA Job Type Travel Make a difference in patient care by utilizing your expertise as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) in a hospital environment. This contract opportunity allows you to provide vital therapy services to support rehabilitation and recovery for diverse patient populations. Schedule/Hours:
Contract position; hours will be discussed during the interview process.
Qualifications and Experience:
Current licensure or eligibility as a Physical Therapist Assistant Experience in a hospital setting preferred Strong knowledge of therapy modalities, patient safety, and documentation Ability to follow care plans established by a licensed Physical Therapist Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities CPR/BLS certification (required or willingness to obtain prior to start)
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in delivering physical therapy interventions under the direction and supervision of a Physical Therapist Implement individualized care plans to support patient mobility, function, and overall recovery Accurately document treatments, progress, and patient responses in accordance with facility protocols Educate patients and families on exercise techniques and home programs to promote independence Work collaboratively with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare team members to optimize patient care Maintain a safe and supportive environment while adapting to evolving patient needs
