Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Active PTA license or eligibility in Missouri Prior experience assisting with hospital-based rehabilitation preferred Familiarity with electronic medical record systems Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Capability to safely mobilize and assist patients with varying physical abilities
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the Physical Therapist to implement and modify patient care plans Assist patients with therapeutic exercises and stretching Provide patient and family education on at-home techniques Maintain a clean and organized therapy area Safely assist patients in transitioning to and from therapy equipment Perform administrative duties such as appointment scheduling and documentation Teach balance and mobility techniques tailored to individual patient needs
