Contract type: Travel Assignment length: 13 weeks Minimum guaranteed hours: 30 hours per week to start
ASAP Qualifications & Experience Desired:
Active licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) in California Hospital-based therapy experience preferred Strong communication and collaborative skills Current BLS certification (American Heart Association) Flexibility to adapt to new environments quickly Positive attitude and dedication to patient-centered care
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver rehabilitative treatment plans established by Physical Therapists for acute or subacute patients in a hospital environment Foster patient independence, safety, and optimal recovery through best therapy practices Document patient progress and provide timely updates to the healthcare team Educate patients and their families on mobility techniques and home-care exercises Collaborate with diverse healthcare professionals to adjust interventions as needed Uphold policies and therapies to ensure the highest standard of care
