Schedule/Hours:
10-hour shifts (call required for night shift) Weekend rotation based on staff schedule, including weekend and holiday call
Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years' experience as an OR Tech (CST) Active BLS and CST certifications Familiarity with Cerner-Surginet EMR preferred Ability to work in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary surgical environment Strong communication and teamwork skills
Responsibilities:
Provide technical support to the surgical team, including prepping the OR, instrument handling, and assisting during procedures Support patient care for a variety of surgical cases (excluding endo IR) Work closely with charge nurses, anesthesia techs, and surgical aides Participate in rotating call and weekend responsibilities Adhere to high standards of patient safety and infection prevention
