Job Description

Category Nursing - RN-PICU Job Type Travel Make a meaningful impact by providing high-level care to critically ill pediatric patients. We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse skilled in Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) nursing for a contract position. The ideal candidate is compassionate, detail-oriented, and adept at working in fast-paced clinical environments where every decision supports young patients and their families.
Schedule:
Night shifts: 3x11.5-hour (19:00 - 07:30)
Qualifications:
Current and valid RN license Minimum of one year recent PICU nursing experience Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
Responsibilities:
Deliver comprehensive care to pediatric patients in the ICU setting, closely monitoring assessments, administering medication, and updating care plans Respond swiftly to changes in patient condition with appropriate interventions Collaborate with pediatricians, specialists, and families to optimize care delivery and support patient-centered outcomes Adhere to evidence-based clinical protocols, infection control standards, and facility policies Educate and support families regarding diagnoses, procedures, and what to expect during the hospital stay Document all care and changes in patient status with accuracy and attention to detail
