Job Description

Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as a part-time Physical Therapist, perfect for professionals seeking to make a positive difference with young learners. This flexible, FSY schedule (15 hours per week) offers the chance to support mostly PreK students, focusing on providing high-quality, individualized PT services that foster growth and independence. If you are bilingual in Spanish or have experience with Special Education (SPED), your skills will be especially valued in this collaborative, student-centered environment.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Valid licensure and credentials to practice Physical Therapy for schools Previous experience providing PT services in a school-based setting (especially PreK) Experience with Special Education preferred Bilingual in Spanish preferred (not required) Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills Commitment to delivering evidence-based, culturally responsive care
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging, individualized physical therapy for PreK students Collaborate with Special Education teams, families, and teaching staff to develop and implement IEPs Monitor, document, and report on student progress Provide guidance and education to caregivers and instructional teams Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute expertise for improved student outcomes This contract includes the exciting potential for renewal, giving you the opportunity to build meaningful relationships and continue supporting students' development year after year.
