Job Description:

Job Summary As a Travel Plaza Cashier at Onvo, you will be the face of our convenience store and fuel services, responsible for processing transactions accurately and providing exceptional customer service to travelers and local patrons. Job Responsibilities Operate a point-of-sale (POS) system to accurately process cash, credit, and debit card transactions for fuel, merchandise, and food items. Maintain a clean and organized checkout area, including stocking shelves and rotating products as needed. Provide friendly and efficient customer service, answering questions, assisting with product location, and resolving customer inquiries or complaints. Handle cash and maintain accurate till reconciliation at the beginning and end of each shift. Assist with basic food preparation and serving in the deli or quick-service areas, if applicable. Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including those related to safety, loss prevention, and customer service. Perform other duties as assigned by the store manager or supervisor.

Job Qualifications:

Previous cash handling and customer service experience preferred Ability to accurately operate a POS system and handle cash transactions. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds. Basic math skills. Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
