Required Skills and Qualifications:

Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license Minimum of 1 year recent experience in PACU or similar post-operative setting BLS and ACLS certifications (current) Strong assessment, monitoring, and critical thinking skills Demonstrated ability to respond calmly and efficiently to medical emergencies Excellent communication and patient advocacy abilities Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams

Key Responsibilities:

Provide skilled post-anesthesia care to a diverse patient population Continuously monitor vital signs and response to anesthesia during recovery Identify and respond promptly to complications or adverse reactions Administer medications as per protocols and physician orders Educate patients and families about post-operative care and discharge instructions Collaborate with surgical, anesthesia, and other nursing staff for seamless care transitions Accurately document all assessments, interventions, and patient responses
