Schedule/Hours:
Travel assignment Up to 16 hours of unpaid orientation Facility may cancel up to 3 shifts per 13-week contract
Role Overview:
Engage as a key member of a collaborative team dedicated to providing high-quality care on an inpatient behavioral unit serving children and adolescents aged 6 to 18. Daily responsibilities include administering medications, patient education, documentation, and actively managing patient behaviors. The role also involves leading educational groups and demonstrating strong professional boundaries while adapting to a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications:
Associate's Degree in Nursing Active and valid RN license in the State of Maine BLS certification At least 1 year of prior nursing experience (adolescent/adult psych preferred) CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) training Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility Previous employees not accepted No licensure/background "hits" Able and willing to float to Chemical Dependency/Detox unit
