Job Description

Degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT Certification), and minimum 1+ years Radiology Tech experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Schedule & Hours:
Saturday, Sunday & Monday:
9:45 a.m. - 10:15 p.m. (3x12 hour shifts, daytime) Weekend coverage is required; no on-call shifts
Professional Qualifications:
Completion of an AMA-accredited Radiology Technology program ARRT (R) Registration Active VA license (or willingness to obtain) BLS certification through AHA (must be completed before orientation) Minimum 2 years' experience as a Radiology Tech, including C-arm proficiency Ability to perform exams for patients across the lifespan
Primary Responsibilities:
Perform diagnostic imaging procedures on patients of all ages, adapting techniques as appropriate Operate C-arm and advanced imaging systems, ensuring high-quality studies Streamline workflow, manage patient schedules, and minimize wait times Accurately document exams, resource usage, and patient data within EPIC and PACS systems Prioritize patient comfort, safety, and autonomy throughout procedures Follow hospital and department guidelines for infection control and safety Assist in orienting new staff and support ongoing professional education
