Job Description

Category Radiation Therapy - Radiation Therapist Job Type Travel Set your sights on Gastonia, NC—where southern hospitality and modern progress meet. As a travel Radiation Therapist, you'll experience hands-on learning in a dynamic outpatient radiation oncology setting, collaborating with a diverse group of healthcare professionals and gaining valuable exposure to new leadership styles and practices. You'll work with state-of-the-art equipment, including two linear accelerators and a CT simulator, and play an integral part in supporting approximately 60-70 cases per day, alongside a dedicated team of three physicians. Schedule/Hours:
1st shift: 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. 40 hours per week No call requirements, no floating between units
Qualifications/Desired Experience:
ARRT Registered Radiation Therapist (RTT) Prior experience in radiation therapy, preferably with outpatient oncology cases Proficiency with Aria and EPIC systems is highly desirable Comfortable working as part of a busy, multidisciplinary care team Professional demeanor and commitment to patient-centered care
Responsibilities:
Deliver safe, accurate radiation therapy treatments per physician orders Operate and maintain linear accelerators and CT simulation technology Document treatments and patient responses in electronic medical records (Aria and EPIC) Monitor patients for treatment side effects and report to physicians as necessary Maintain compliance with safety and quality assurance standards
