Job Description
Category Radiation Therapy - Radiation Therapist Job Type Travel Deliver high-quality patient care by administering radiation treatments in a dynamic and supportive healthcare environment. As an experienced Radiation Therapist, you'll play a crucial role in supporting oncology teams and making a meaningful difference in patients' lives throughout their treatment plans.
Qualifications & Experience:
Completion of an accredited program in Radiation Therapy Technology Valid ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification in Radiation Therapy Relevant state licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure as a Radiation Therapist Previous experience in radiation therapy strongly preferred Strong understanding of radiation safety protocols Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and support staffResponsibilities:
Accurately deliver prescribed radiation treatments to patients as directed by the oncologist's plan Operate linear accelerators and other radiation therapy equipment safely and efficiently Verify and record treatment parameters; ensure accuracy and compliance with physician's instructions Monitor and assess patient condition before, during, and after each treatment session Educate patients about the radiation therapy process, address concerns, and provide compassionate support Adhere strictly to all regulatory, safety, and infection-control standards Maintain precise and thorough documentation within patient records Collaborate with the clinical team to optimize treatment outcomes and patient experience As a valued healthcare professional, you'll have the opportunity to work in an environment that prioritizes both team collaboration and exceptional patient care.
