Job Description

Category Radiation Therapy - Radiation Therapist Job Type Travel Step into a dynamic radiation therapy setting, where your expertise as a certified professional will make a meaningful difference in patient care. This contract position offers a structured weekday schedule, well-suited for those committed to excellence in oncology services.
Schedule:
Day shift: Monday through
Friday Hours:
7:30 AM - 4:00 PM (5x8-hour shifts)
Qualifications:
Valid ARRT T (Radiation Therapy) certification Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Current SCRQSA license required At least one year of recent hands-on experience with EPIC electronic health record systems Willingness for facility review if you are a first-time traveler, based on overall experience
Responsibilities:
Administer safe and precise radiation therapy treatments as prescribed by physicians Accurately position patients and operate advanced linear accelerators and other radiation equipment Monitor, assess, and document patient responses during therapy, ensuring comfort and safety Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including oncologists, nurses, and medical physicists Maintain compliance with all regulatory and facility protocols regarding patient care and equipment usage Provide clear instructions and educational support to patients and families regarding procedures and post-treatment care Enjoy the opportunity to gain valuable professional experience while contributing to exceptional patient outcomes in a supportive clinical environment.
