Job Description

Category Radiation Therapy - Radiation Therapist Job Type Travel Advance your career in radiation therapy within a dynamic clinical setting, providing essential care and support to patients undergoing treatment. The current opportunity invites skilled Radiation Therapists to collaborate with a dedicated healthcare team, ensuring the highest standard of therapeutic interventions for individuals battling cancer and related conditions.
Schedule:
Day shifts, Monday through Friday 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM (5x8-hour shifts)
Qualifications:
Current ARRT (T) registration Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Valid SCRQSA license Minimum of one year of experience utilizing EPIC electronic health records Experience as a first-time traveler will be considered depending on prior background Exceptional communication and patient care skills
Responsibilities:
Administer daily radiation treatments following physician prescriptions and established protocols Accurately position patients and operate radiation equipment with an emphasis on safety and effectiveness Utilize EPIC for thorough documentation and monitoring of patient progress Collaborate with radiation oncologists, dosimetrists, and nursing staff for comprehensive patient care Provide patient education, support, and reassurance throughout the treatment process Maintain strict adherence to all regulatory, hospital, and unit-specific compliance standards
