Job Description

Category Radiation Therapy - Radiation Therapist Job Type Travel Deliver high-quality patient care as a vital member of an outpatient cancer center's radiation therapy team. In this dynamic and rewarding role, you'll support adult patients undergoing advanced radiation treatments, contributing to a multidisciplinary team dedicated to exceptional oncology services.
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 7:30am-4:00pm (five 8-hour shifts) No call and no float required Facility closure on select holidays (11/28-29, 12/25-26, 1/1) Occasional interaction with radiation oncology students Initial onboarding includes an 8-hour orientation and mentorship
Qualifications:
Current ARRT T certification required; ARRT preferred BLS certification required Minimum 2 years' experience as a Radiation Therapist Proficient with Elekta Mosaiq documentation system (required) Proven competence in treating a broad spectrum of adult oncology diagnoses (prostate, breast, lung, head/neck, skin, rectal, brain tumors, palliative bone mets) Able to communicate time off requirements in advance
Responsibilities:
Administer radiation therapy using Elekta Versa HD accelerators, XVI & iView imaging, VisionRT SGRT, and Hexapod table Deliver treatments including SRS, SBRT, IMRT, VMAT, 3D/4D/2D, IGRT, and DIBH Collaborate closely with physicists, dosimetrists, and other clinical staff to implement patient-specific plans Ensure accurate documentation and uphold quality assurance standards Provide compassionate support and clear communication to patients throughout treatment
