Job Description

Category Imaging - X-ray Job Type Travel Discover the charm of the Southeast while advancing your clinical expertise as an X-Ray Technologist in scenic Cordova, South Carolina. This picturesque region offers a gateway to historic towns, southern hospitality, and endless opportunities for outdoor adventures during your downtime. In this travel role, you'll gain valuable firsthand experience in a Level III Trauma, Acute Care setting. With exposure to adult and pediatric radiology, operating room, orthopedics, fluoro, inpatient, outpatient, and emergency room coverage, you'll broaden your clinical knowledge and build a more versatile resume. Collaborate with a diverse group of healthcare professionals, adapting to varied leadership styles and facility protocols—an excellent opportunity to grow your skill set and confidence in new environments.
Schedule:
Monday through Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm (5x8s) On-call and weekend rotation required
Key Qualifications:
Minimum 1 year of X-ray imaging experience National certifications required: ARRT (R), SCRQSA (R), BLS, and CPR Must provide your own radiation badge Fluoroscopy and operating room experience highly preferred Open to first-time travelers
Responsibilities:
Perform radiographic procedures using a deep understanding of anatomical positioning and physiology Apply technical skills and independent judgment with minimal supervision Operate within multiple departments including OR, Ortho, Fluoro, ED, and more Deliver compassionate care to both adult and pediatric patients Demonstrate flexibility by floating within scope as facility needs arise Adhere strictly to facility safety and emergency guidelines, especially during hurricane season
