This assignment will deepen your skill set—particularly in cardiovascular operative nursing—while allowing you to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and observe dynamic leadership styles. Add valuable, hands-on experience in specialties like ENT, general, orthopedics, plastic, urology, ophthalmology, neurosurgery, robotics, vascular, cardiac, and thoracic surgery.

Schedule/Hours:

Four, 10-hour day shifts per week

Off-shift/on-call:

4-5 shifts per 13-week contract (12-hour shift or on-call, day or night)

Qualifications:

Current, active RN license Minimum of 4 years recent CVOR experience Demonstrated ability to both scrub and circulate (circulator only is not eligible)

BLS/ACLS

certifications required Experience with patients across the lifespan—neonate, pediatric, adult, geriatric Strong clinical judgment, communication, and adaptability in advanced surgical settings

Key Responsibilities:

Scrub and circulate for cardiovascular operative procedures Ensure patient safety and high-quality outcomes in a high-tech, multifaceted OR Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia, and multidisciplinary teams Assist with emergency and routine surgical interventions Upkeep of sterile field and compliance with all protocols
