Qualifications & Experience:
Current credential as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Active, unrestricted Respiratory Therapy license BLS and ACLS certifications required Experience with adult and pediatric populations preferred Proficient in performing diagnostic and therapeutic respiratory procedures Strong communication and critical thinking skills Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced clinical setting
Key Responsibilities:
Administer various types of respiratory therapy treatments and diagnostic procedures according to physician orders Operate and monitor mechanical ventilators and other advanced respiratory care equipment Assess, evaluate, and document patient respiratory status and responses to therapy Provide education and support to patients and families regarding respiratory care and equipment Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans Ensure all safety protocols and infection control procedures are followed Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and participate in ongoing professional development This contract position offers exposure to diverse clinical challenges and the opportunity to work alongside skilled healthcare professionals.
