Job Description

Category Respiratory - Registered Respiratory Therapist Job Type Travel Deliver critical, high-quality care on a dedicated respiratory team within a modern acute-care environment. This contract opportunity offers Registered Respiratory Therapists the chance to operate at the top of their licenses, using the latest in respiratory technology and working collaboratively across multiple units.
Schedule:
7:00 PM - 7:00 AM shifts Minimum three 12-hour shifts per week Rotating weekends required
Qualifications & Experience:
Valid credentials as a Registered Respiratory Therapist Active certifications in ACLS, BLS, PALS, and NRP Strong experience in critical care and emergency care environments Proficiency with ventilator care, Bipap management, aerosol treatments, intubation, arterial line insertion, and related procedures Ability and willingness to float throughout all inpatient units as required Familiarity with Meditech documentation system is preferred
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver patient-centered respiratory care for diverse populations, from pediatric to adult Manage advanced respiratory equipment including Puritan Bennett 980 ventilators, Vapotherm, Phillips V60+, and Seimens EPOC bedside ABG analyzers Participate in daily interdepartmental rounds, collaborating closely with nursing and physician teams Respond rapidly to respiratory emergencies and support procedures at the bedside Maintain accurate electronic records and adhere to all facility standards and policies Uphold the highest standards of professionalism and compassion with patients, families, and colleagues
