Travel assignment; specific hours may vary by shiftQualifications:
Registered Respiratory Therapist credential and active professional license Current BLS and ACLS certification Previous experience in intensive respiratory care, patient transport, and complex equipment operation preferred Excellent communication and patient education abilities Proficient in 12-lead EKG, pulmonary function studies, chest physiotherapy, oximetry, capnography, and critical event responseResponsibilities:
Deliver high-quality, intensive respiratory care and facilitate safe patient transport Assess patients and recommend evidence-based treatment plans Conduct prescribed respiratory therapies using diverse ventilatory and oxygen delivery devices Perform chest physiotherapy, suctioning, tracheostomy care, and arterial punctures Operate and monitor advanced ventilatory equipment; coordinate maintenance or repairs as needed Document all care provided, ensure accurate billing and facilitate compliant hand-offs during rounds Support and educate patients and families, particularly during discharge planning Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams for optimal outcomesBenefits:
