Job Description

Category Respiratory - Registered Respiratory Therapist Job Type Travel Take the next step in your respiratory therapy career by making a difference in a highly regarded, fully accredited, acute-care hospital. This contract position requires an experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist to contribute expertise and compassion across all inpatient units, including two dedicated 10-bed ICUs, utilizing state-of-the-art equipment and collaborating within a multidisciplinary team environment.
Schedule:
7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, three 12-hour shifts per week Rotating weekends
Qualifications:
Current credentials as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certifications (all required) Critical care and emergency care experience strongly preferred Proficiency with ventilator management, bipap management, and aerosol treatments Familiarity with Meditech documentation system is a plus Ability to rotate through all inpatient units and adapt to multiple patient populations
Responsibilities:
Deliver top-tier respiratory therapy, including intubation, arterial line insertion, and assisting with bedside bronchoscopies Manage mechanical ventilation and non-invasive modalities using cutting-edge technology (Puritan Bennett 980 ventilators, Vapotherm, Phillips V60+, Seimens
EPOC ABG
analyzers, and more) Participate in daily rounds with the interdisciplinary team, contributing to cohesive, patient-centered care Provide clear and empathetic patient and family communication, applying the AIDET framework to ensure positive patient experiences Maintain compliance with dress code (required uniform: scrubs) and department/unit policies Why Choose This Opportunity?
