Qualifications:
Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) license Current BLS and ACLS certification Experience with ventilator management (invasive and non-invasive) Competence in performing chest physiotherapy, oximetry, capnography, arterial puncture, and EKG Familiarity with pulmonary function testing, tracheostomy care, bronchoscopies, and endotracheal tube proceduresKey Responsibilities:
Deliver intensive respiratory care and patient transport as prescribed Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans Administer therapies using a range of respiratory equipment Educate patients regarding treatments and discharge care Perform procedures such as suctioning, chest physiotherapy, and pulmonary function studies Manage respiratory equipment operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting Participate in cardiopulmonary resuscitation and other emergent interventions Ensure thorough documentation and accurate reporting in patient records Communicate effectively with healthcare teams and during shift hand-offs Maintain and verify respiratory therapy charges and data Support lab operations, including equipment use and quality controlTravel & Workplace Benefits:
