Job Description

Category Respiratory - Registered Respiratory Therapist Job Type Travel Contribute your specialized skills as a Registered Respiratory Therapist in a dynamic, hospital-based environment offering comprehensive care and a collaborative atmosphere. This contract role is tailored for experienced RRTs ready to support a wide range of patient populations and meet evolving facility needs.
Schedule:
3x12-hour shifts
Nights:
6:45 PM - 7:15 AM Every other weekend required Holiday rotation included
Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years' recent experience as an RRT in critical care settings Current South Carolina Respiratory Care Provider (SC RCP) license (must be valid at start) National certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, PALS, and
NBRC RRT
(all required at start) Must be comfortable floating to all hospital areas within scope, including labor and delivery Block schedule accommodation unavailable Not open to first-time travelers; local candidates (within 60 miles) not eligible
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver advanced respiratory care to adult and pediatric patients throughout the hospital Provide clinical expertise during high acuity and emergent situations Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams and adjust care to evolving clinical demands Participate in weekend and holiday coverage as scheduled Follow all facility protocols and adapt to potential assignments during hurricane season (June-November)
