Key Experience and Qualifications:
Current RN license (valid for practice in VA or compact states) Demonstrated experience in Telemetry/Step-down settings (RN-Tele expertise essential) Strong cardiac monitoring and rhythm interpretation abilities Intermediate to advanced knowledge of telemetry and telemetry equipment Excellent communication and patient education skills BLS and ACLS certifications (required) Adaptability to fast-paced and dynamic clinical environments
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver high-quality, compassionate care to patients requiring cardiac monitoring and observation Interpret cardiac rhythms and respond swiftly to emergent patient needs Monitor, document, and report patient progress, collaborating with providers and allied staff Administer prescribed medications and interventions safely and accurately Educate patients and families on care plans and recovery processes Employ sound clinical judgment in assessing changing conditions
