Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality at all times. Experience Proven experience in labor and delivery nursing within hospital settings, preferably in Level I or Level II trauma centers. Demonstrated proficiency with EMR/EHR systems such as Epic or Cerner. Critical care experience including ICU or emergency medicine is highly desirable. Knowledge of obstetric procedures such as cesarean sections, fetal monitoring, and antepartum/postpartum assessments. Familiarity with neonatal procedures including neonatal ventilator management and newborn assessments. Experience working with diverse patient populations, including individuals with developmental disabilities or requiring memory care. Strong understanding of medical terminology related to obstetrics, pediatrics, and acute pain management. Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) is required; additional certifications like ACLS are advantageous. Ability to perform venipuncture, IV insertion, suturing, and specimen collection efficiently. Excellent communication skills for effective patient education and team collaboration. This position offers a rewarding opportunity for experienced nurses committed to delivering exceptional maternal healthcare. We welcome applicants who are eager to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining the highest standards of patient safety and comfort. #
