As a travel Registered Nurse on a Medical-Surgical (MS) unit, you'll interact with a range of healthcare professionals, gaining hands-on experience with diverse clinical protocols, patient populations, and documentation systems. This assignment provides an excellent opportunity to network with new colleagues, develop advanced nursing skills, and broaden your resume with exposure to a variety of leadership styles and healthcare methodologies.
Schedule/Hours:
Flexible shifts available (may include weekends and holidays) Full-time travel assignment
Essential Qualifications:
Active RN license in Michigan (or compact state eligibility) Minimum one year of recent Medical-Surgical nursing experience BLS certification required; ACLS preferred Strong assessment, clinical, and communication abilities Comfortable adapting to new settings and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver quality, evidence-based care to adult and geriatric patients on the MS floor Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and document patient progress accurately Collaborate with physicians and ancillary staff to coordinate comprehensive patient care Provide patient education and emotional support to individuals and families Ensure compliance with facility policies, state regulations, and best practice standards
