You'll care for patients on a busy MS Stroke Stepdown unit, serving a varied adult population. This role is perfect for nurses eager to deepen their expertise with complex medical and surgical cases, backed by comprehensive support from colleagues experienced in stroke, renal, pulmonary, and critical care.
Schedule/Hours:
6:30 am - 7:00 pm shifts Block scheduling is not guaranteedDesired Experience & Qualifications:
Valid NY RN license and active licenses verified via NURSYS At least 2 years' recent MS (Medical-Surgical) experience, including stroke stepdown Documented travel nursing experience and matching skills checklist Proficiency withEPIC EMR
systems Current AHA BLS and NIHSS certifications (NIHSS can be obtained before starting) Willingness to float as needed between units Up-to-date resume highlighting relevant experience Driver's license (must match application demographics) Locals within 75 miles welcome at a different rateKey Responsibilities:
Deliver high-quality care for adults with complex medical needs (stroke, renal, pulmonary, CHF, isolation, etc.) Use specialty equipment such as IV pumps, feeding tubes, N/G tubes Flexibly respond to patient needs across different units as assignedBenefits & Travel Perks:
