1 Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Stroke Unit (2S) travel position in Crestview, FL, requiring a minimum of 2 years of recent Med/Surg experience and active stroke/NIHSS experience. Details Hospital-based Med/Surg unit with a focus on stroke patients Day shift schedule, 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM 13-week contract Requirements Active FL or compact RN license required Current BLS and NIHSS certifications required — no certifications expiring within the first 30 days of the assignment start date Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg RN experience required Stroke unit experience required Active AHCA (Agency for Health Care Administration) compliance required for all FL-based CHS travelers Valid U.S. driver's license required for consideration U.S. Social Security Number required — Canadian SINs are not accepted Additional Information NIHSS and stroke experience must be documented in your profile Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this travel position RTO requests must be less than one week in duration Candidates who have worked at any CHS facility as permanent staff within the past 2 years are not eligible for this position No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
