Job Description

Category Respiratory - Registered Respiratory Therapist Job Type Travel Step into a vital clinical role supporting patients with respiratory conditions. As a Registered Respiratory Therapist, you will use your expertise to provide high-quality care, working closely with patients and the interdisciplinary medical team. This contract position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in a collaborative healthcare environment.
Key Qualifications:
Current licensure as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Credentialed by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) Previous clinical experience in respiratory therapy Excellent assessment, problem-solving, and communication skills Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team Familiarity with a variety of respiratory equipment and treatment protocols
Responsibilities:
Assess, plan, and deliver respiratory care to patients of varying acuity levels Administer treatments, perform diagnostic tests, and monitor patient progress Manage ventilators and other advanced respiratory support devices Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes Educate patients and families on treatment plans and respiratory health management Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with facility standards and regulatory requirements Respond promptly to emergency situations, performing airway management and resuscitation as needed This role is a contract opportunity offering exposure to a diverse patient population and a range of respiratory care conditions.
