Schedule/Hours:
72 guaranteed hours biweekly on every assignment (excluding on-call)
Qualifications:
Current Registered Respiratory Therapist certification Valid Massachusetts state license (or eligibility for reciprocity) One year of recent hospital-based respiratory care experience preferred Strong patient assessment and critical thinking abilities BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Responsibilities:
Deliver a full scope of respiratory therapy treatments and diagnostic procedures to patients across all age groups Monitor, document, and assess patient response to therapies and interventions Collaborate actively with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes Ensure safety and accuracy of respiratory care equipment Respond rapidly to emergent respiratory needs, using sound judgment Educate patients and families on respiratory care protocols when appropriate
